Breaking and entering was reported at a home on the 1600 block of Houston Valley Road this weekend.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office spoke with the victims on Saturday. They stated last Tuesday when they were away from the home, someone broke in through the front door and stole from the kitchen. Items stolen included brown glass bowls, yellow glass dishes, multiple Tupperware bowls, and a set of white plates.
According to the report, the door appeared to have been pried open. Other neighbors in the community have also noticed items were stolen from their properties, including gasoline. The suspects are unknown at this time.
