A Bulls Gap man was arrested with robbery and two counts of aggravated domestic assault Sunday morning after reportedly choking two people in a home and stealing a purse.
According to the report, one of the victims said suspect Samuel T. Bollinger was drinking and became physically abusive. Bollinger allegedly hit the victim with a closed fist and choked her. He reportedly threw the second victim to the ground and also choked her until she could no longer breath. The victim said he hit her in the head with some type of object and felt she was going to lose consciousness.
The report states after Bollinger assaulted the victims he wanted one of their purses. The victim stated she refused to give the suspect her purse because her money was inside; Bollinger then allegedly wrapped the purse around her neck, choking her until she couldn’t breath, and fled from the home.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office set up for a K-9 track. After nearly 1/4th of a mile Bollinger was located laying face down in the grass. He reportedly did not comply so K9 Diesel engaged and the suspect was bit in the upper shoulder. The suspect was taken into custody with the assist from K9 Diesel. No medical attention was needed.
