The Greene County Commission will meet this evening at 6 PM at Tusculum University in the Meen Center.
The commission will hold two public hearings regarding the rezoning of two properties. Resolutions to be discussed during the meeting include considering an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Greene County, the City of Tusculum, the Town of Greeneville, and Tusculum-Greeneville-Greene County Industrial Development board for the 335-acre Greene Valley Development Center property.
There is a resolution to consider authorizing the Greene County Mayor to apply for the Community Development Block Grant, in the amount of $1M for improvement at Kinser Park. The commission will also consider authorizing the Mayor to apply for a Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program Grant, in the amount of $150,000 to construct an Outdoor Learning/Demonstration Pavilion.
The meeting will be on the 3rd floor of the Meen Center, in Boardroom #309 this evening at 6 PM.
