Multiple structure fires have been reported.
An outbuilding fire was at 9312 Blue Springs Parkway at 7:59 PM yesterday. Farm equipment was destroyed. Mosheim, the Town of Mosheim, and Midway fire departments responded.
A basement fire at a home on 451 Norton Road was reported at 5:44 Yesterday evening. Tusculum and Newmansville Fire departments, along with assistance from Caney Branch Fire Cheif Ryan Holt Responded to the scene.
Around noon yesterday, Caney Branch assisted the Parrotsville Volunteer Fire Department and responded to 3076 East Highway 25/70 in Cocke County, near the Huston Valley Road intersection.
Mcdonald Volunteer Fire Department responded to 820 Potter Creek Lane at around 1:30 yesterday afternoon. A brush fire had spread and threatened to catch a camper on fire. Midway Fire Department responded with assistance.
United Volunteer Fire Department responded to a hay field fire at 8590 Lonesome Pine Trail, near Marvin Road, around 2:30 yesterday afternoon. It began as a controlled burn but spread near a wooded area. The forestry division arrived and made a fire line around 3:15 pm, the blaze was under control and all units were finished by 4 pm.
