A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after he was seen wandering through a stranger’s property on Thursday evening.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department responded to Clear Mountain Trail behind Walmart around 8:30 PM. The owner said a man, later identified as Steven Gordon, had been in the woods on her property, stumbling around and had his pants down around his ankles at one point. She watched the man walk through the woods and sit down behind the Dollar Tree.
The officer found Gordon sitting near a dumpster behind the store. He had a warrant for violation of probation and was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
