Multiple Fire and Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a report of a fire on the Baileyton Road Friday at 4:30 PM.
A barn had caught on fire, which was also threatening a house at 5350 Baileyton Road. There was also a 100 pound propane tank reported inside the barn. The tank was vented safely and there was no explosion.
Responding to the scene was United, Tusculum, Mosheim, Debusk, Newmansville, Debusk rehab, Greeneville Energy Authority, EMS, and the Sheriff’s Office.
