A Chuckey man was arrested late Friday night after allegedly driving a motorcycle at nearly 120 miles per hour along the East Andrew Johnson Highway near Limestone.
A deputy on routine patrol clocked a Kawasaki motorcycle at 119 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on the East Andrew Johnson Highway. The driver, identified as Matthew Collins of Charles Johnson Road, passed multiple cars by lane splitting at speeds over 110 miles per hour before giving up and pulling over near Grant Road.
Collins was charged with felony evading arrest and felony reckless endangerment along with reckless driving.
