A man was arrested before 2 AM this morning for driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and more, after he ran a red light and was stopped by officers.
The Greeneville Police Department witnessed the vehicle run a red light on Justis Drive and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Kenneth Hores of Greeneville, reportedly had slurred speech when speaking and said he just left a bar. After performing poorly on sobriety tests he was placed under arrest for DUI.
During a vehicle search, officers allegedly found a loaded pistol, Marijuana, a grinder and scale. He was additionally charged with running a red light, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and possession of drug paraphernalia. After being taken to the hospital for a blood draw, he was taken to the Greene County Detention Center.
