Around 4:00 PM Friday, police went to the 1700 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway. A report had come in stating that a warrant suspect was staying there. Officers knocked several times, and could hear noises from inside the room, according to the report.
The suspect, Judy B. Ward of Talbott, Tennessee, opened the door and gave the officers consent to search the room. 1.5 grams of a green, leafy substance was found, along with plastic baggies, a set of digital scales with white powder residue consistent with narcotics sales, two glass pipes, tape, and rubber.
Ward was arrested for with the warrant arrests out of Morristown which were for drug charges, and additionally charged with Schedule 6 Drug Violations and Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
