A structure fire was reported Wednesday before 11 PM on Prairie Lane in Greeneville.
The victim said he was getting ready for bed when the lights flickered and the fuse box began popping. He reportedly started smelling smoke and then called 911. Sunnyside Fire Department responded to the scene and the Incident Commander stated he believed the fire was caused by some wiring in the ceiling.
Chaplain Danny Ricker also responded and assisted the family with Red Cross information and placement for the night. No injuries were listed in the report.
