An outbuilding was burned after a fire this morning before 1 AM on Robert Harmon Road. Upon arrival, deputies could see flames coming from the structure and bottles filled with fuel sitting on top of a truck. The radio in the truck was reportedly still on as well.
After multiple attempts, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a man that lived in a residence beside the outbuilding. The man said he had coals burning in a wood stove inside the building and then went inside his home around 11 PM on Wednesday.
The owner of the property was contacted, who was in bed at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
