Greeneville police investigated a report of three individuals allegedly taking food from Chick-fil-A that had been set aside for DoorDash drivers.
On Monday afternoon, officers went to the restaurant and were told by a manager that two of the three people who had been taking the food were on site. A woman suspect told police that she was using her friend’s DoorDash to deliver food, but could not log into the app or show proof that she was working for them.
The two suspects on scene were issued trespassing warnings, while the third suspect had not yet been identified. Store management had video footage showing the three entering the restaurant and taking items from the DoorDash pickup shelf.
