A Greeneville Man was arrested inside of a Dollar General after resisting arrest.
Police witnessed a man riding a battery-operated scooter when he turned into the path of another motorist in the Bernard Avenue Dollar General parking lot and almost got into a collision.
Officers made contact with the motorist, identified as Steven Harmon, and found that he had an active warrant on file at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the report, Officers were attempting to tell Harmon of the warrant violation when he began walking toward the Dollar General.
Officers followed Harmon into the store, repeating their commands to stop and eventually threatening to taze him.
Harmon stopped inside the Dollar General. He was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident.
