GREENEVILLE – The TRIO programs at Tusculum University are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Upward Bound and the 25th anniversary of Student Support Services at the higher education institution.
TRIO program leaders and alumni, the university’s administration and staff members of U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-1st, and U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., will speak at a celebration Tuesday, June 6, at 3:30 p.m. The event will take place in Chalmers Conference Center inside the Scott M. Niswonger Commons.
Upward Bound was established at Tusculum in 1973, and Student Support Services began at Tusculum in 1997.
