A Greeneville woman was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespass following an incident at a Greene County convenience store early this morning.
Deputies responded to Lee’s Food Market around 3:15 AM on Speedway Lane on the report a woman identified as Lyndsay Nelson of Lonesome Pine Trail inside the store. Nelson had been criminally trespassed from the property late Wednesday night.
Nelson reportedly told deputies that she had been threatened by a man who drove the orange truck parked in the lot. She said that the man was walking through the parking lot, but no one was seen walking in the area.
Nelson was placed under arrest. While in the patrol car, Nelson stated that a small car pulled up next to her and the driver threatened to kill her. No other vehicle was around at the time.
Nelson was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for criminal trespass and public intoxication.
