A woman was arrested early this morning for Driving Under the Influence after it was reported that someone was passed out at the Cookout Drive-thru on 3545 East Andrew Johnson Highway.
The woman, Andrea Rosales-Gomez of Chuckey, was found slumped over the steering wheel with the vehicle still running. After getting woken up by the officer, Gomez seemed very lethargic according to the report, and had slurred speech. She admitted to taking xanax. After doing poorly on sobriety tests, she was detained.
During a search, xanax pills were found, as well as syringes, a baggie containing .25 grams of suspected meth, and .25 grams of marijuana. She was arrested with multiple charges.
