The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development reported today that Greene County’s unemployment rate in December was 4.2 percent, unchanged from the November rate.
Greene County’s rate a year ago was 3.5 percent.
The unemployment rate for December 2022 decreased in 89 Tennessee counties, increased in three counties, and remained the same in three counties.
Williamson County had the lowest rate at 2.1 percent, while Bledsoe County had the highest rate at 5.3 percent.
The state unemployment rate for December was 3.5 percent, unchanged from the November rate.
