MECO Corporation News Release
Meco Corporation was recently featured in a Heroes of American Manufacturing video series with the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), based at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The Heroes of American Manufacturing video series shows how local MEP Centers can help small and medium-sized manufacturers succeed in the United States. Every day, leaders, workers, and manufacturers in facilities across the country strive to improve lives by making their communities and economies better and stronger. These videos highlight how MEP Centers help to bolster manufacturing locally and nationally.
The video was shot at the Meco facility last fall and was recently released on the NIST MEP public website: https://www.nist.gov/mep/mep-national-network/manufacturing-videos. The Heroes of American Manufacturing video series attempts to capture the hearts and minds of the public and celebrate the small and medium-sized manufacturers succeeding in the U.S. with the help of their local MEP Centers. The video series shines a spotlight on what’s happening in plants across the country, the leaders and workers who are making things that improve our daily lives, and the jobs and contributions these manufacturers provide to their communities and the nation’s economy.
Heroes videos also showcase the relationship between the MEP Center and the manufacturing client – helping tell the story of the MEP National Network™, a unique public-private partnership that includes MEP Centers in every state and Puerto Rico. With more than 1,440 trusted advisors and experts at approximately 460 MEP service locations, the Network can provide any U.S. manufacturer with access to the resources it needs to succeed.
This video showcases Meco’s capabilities including metal stamping, deep draw, CNC machining, welding, powder coating, assembly, packaging, and design support.
