The community is invited to join The Town of Greeneville, our Mayor, and City Council at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 24th as a dedication ceremony will be held for Greeneville Fire Department’s new ladder truck, Tower 3, at Station No. 2 located at 945 Carson Street in Greeneville.
The new apparatus is a 2024 Sutphen SPH 100 Aerial Platform Ladder Truck that the department received on January 22nd.

*!* Non-ambulatory patients can be rescued and lowered to the ground
*!* 2,000 gallon per minute pump
*!* Dual aerial master streams
*!* Four-Door, Four-Person Cab
*!* Nearly 300 cu ft equipment storage

The Greeneville Fire Department (GFD) is a full-service emergency response agency providing rapid, caring, and quality response to the citizens and visitors of Greeneville. GFD provides the following emergency response services: fire suppression, emergency medical, hazardous materials mitigation, and rescue. GFD also provides the following non-emergency services: child safety seat installation, smoke alarm installation, public fire education, fire inspections, code enforcement, fire cause determination and investigation, special event stand-by, pre-incident and preparedness planning, fire extinguisher training, and CPR training.
