The Greene County Commission will have their regular scheduled meeting tonight in the Greene County Courthouse.
The agenda includes a resolution to budget $12,904 for the Edward Brune Memorial Justice Assistance Grant. The grant was awarded to Greene County Sheriff’s Department and funds are intended to be used to purchase in-car video cameras for newly purchased cruisers.
Also, to be discussed is Greene County Government personal property. The legislative Body will declare the specific property as surplus, obsolete etc., and if appropriate will authorize the County Purchasing Director to sell the property by public auction or by sealed bids.
There will also be a resolution authorizing the County Mayor to apply to the state of Tennessee for grant funding under the State Industrial Access Road Program for Potter Town Road, to benefit the Walmart Distribution, as well as for repairs on both sides of the bridges on Ball Road.
The Greene County Commission will meet at 6 PM in the Criminal Courtroom in the Greene County Courthouse.
