A woman was arrested with public intoxication and vandalism Wednesday night after reportedly urinating in a store at the Greeneville Commons.
Officers responded to Tusculum Boulevard on the report of an unwanted person. Shena L. Hale of Greeneville was located in the back of the store looking at shoes. Officers discovered that Hale urinated on shoes within the store. When asked Hale stated she did not steal anything, did not have anything to drink, and did not take any drugs but according to the officer, Hale was very erratic and could not stay still.
During a Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test she reportedly could not follow directions. She was believed to be a danger to herself and the public so she was arrested, trespassed from the property, and taken to the Greene County Detention Center.
