Ida Imogene McGhee, age 81, of Limestone, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Neal Morris and Patricia and Ricky Guinn; granddaughter Denise and Cameron Gill; great-grandson John Thomas Gill, who is on the way; niece Pamela and Snide Hensley; and cousin Alisha Ricker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McGhee; mother, Minnie Hammonds; and siblings Geraldine Henry and Albert Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton.
The graveside service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Christian Church.
It is requested that family and friends meet at the cemetery Saturday for the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Snide Hensley, Chris Hensley, Terry Ricker, Brent Ricker, Keith Hillyer and Shawn Farnsworth.
