A fundraiser is being held Friday, October 3 from noon until 7 pm for The Care Center at 766 West Andrew Johnson Highway. A street taco plate, with one chicken and one beef taco, Spanish rice, street corn and dessert, will be available for $12. All proceeds will go to The Care Center, a shelter that serves people in need with meals, showers, washers and dryers.
