In observance of Labor Day, several Greene County Government Offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, along with the Greene County Clerk’s Office which will be closed beginning on September 5, 2026, through the holiday.
The following closures will be in effect:
- Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Administration Center, and the Annex – Closed Monday, September 7, 2026
- Greene County Clerk’s Office – Closed Saturday, September 5 and Monday, September 7, 2026
- Greene County Solid Waste Convenience Centers- Closed Monday, September 7, 2026 — Regular hours will resume Tuesday, September 8, 2026
- Town of Greeneville offices will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.
- Andrew Johnson Bank will be closed on Monday, September 7th
Please Note: The Greene County Solid Waste Transfer Station and Administrative Office will remain open and will maintain standard operating hours on Monday, September 7, 2026.
