Dan Nordheim, age 78, of Greeneville, passed away Thursday at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a hardworking and devoted family man who deeply loved those closest to him. He began his career as a teacher at Springboro High School in Springboro, Ohio, before becoming the owner of a BP gas station in Springboro. He later worked for General Motors, where he remained until his retirement. Throughout his life, his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and love for those around him defined the man he was.
Survivors include his children: Deidra (Charlie) Bilter, Dave (Tamara) Bryant, Keith Bryant, and John (Alicia) Brown; grandchildren: Joshua, Caleb, Jennifer, Uriah, DJ, and Michaela; and great-grandchildren: Hazel Lin, Jack, Will, Charlie, and Mattie.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary Kay Nordheim, who passed away February 15, 2026; parents, Paul Nordheim and Betty Nordheim; and sister, Delores Jean.
At his request, there will be no formal services or visitation.
