Anthony (Toney) Wheeler, 62, of Greeneville, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at his home.
Mr. Wheeler was a machine operator and a member of Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Christene Burch; sister, Dianne (Chuck) Hurst; nephew, Taran (Miranda) Hurst; niece, Karsey Hurst; great-niece and great-nephew, Blakley and Tayden Hurst; special grandson, Ryan Lawson; special sons, Austin and Mackenzie Lawson; and special friend, Rex Coffey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Dean Wheeler.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, at Community Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at the church at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Scott Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Willoughby Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Timmy Manis, Terry Matthews, Rex Coffey, Ronnie Wheeler, Taran Hurst and Rodney Coffey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Hurst, Alfred Thacker, Austin Lawson and Mackenzie Lawson.
Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
