Units from the Tusculum, Camp Creek and Nolichuckey Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a structure fire just before 8:00 pm Monday on Bill Martin Road. Greene County EMS also responded along with the Sheriff’s Department.
A neighbor and caretaker across the road noticed the fire and called 9-1-1. The structure, already in run down condition, was destroyed. Two vehicles, a 1996 Ford 150, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and a trailer belonging to the complainant Daniel Shelton, were also damaged. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Units were called back to the scene around 6:25 this morning when the fire rekindled.
