The leading edge of a storm front that could bring hazardous weather to our area is now at the Cumberland Plateau. The worst storms are still forecast to be to the west and south of our area.
The system is moving northeast and had resulted in tornado warnings for McMinnville and Sparta, Tennessee. The line of storms extends from Detroit, Michigan, to New Orleans, Louisiana. The hazardous storms are from Tennessee south.
Greene County is in the “Midnight to 4AM” zone as the most likely time the system will be in our area.
