Officers responded to an assault complaint around 10:30 Friday night.
The victim told police an argument had begun at the movie theatre and continued to a residence afterward. The two argued in the driveway of the home. During the disagreement, Caleb Broome, of West Main Street, allegedly pushed the victim from the car, where she fell to the ground, and then ran over her ankle with the back tire as he left.
According to the police report, the victim’s foot had visible injuries and was swollen, however she refused medical attention.
Officers located Broome at his residence, and he reportely admitted to the argument and to driving away and over the victim’s foot.
Broome was then taken into custody for Aggravated Domestic Assault.
