The front edge of a line of storms moving across East Tennessee has reached the Oak Ridge area. A tornado warning has been issued for some counties just to the west of Knoxville.
At 757 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Loudon, moving northeast at 55 mph. Damaging tornado and quarter size hail. The National Weather Service said weather spotters confirmed tornado.
This dangerous storm will be near Loudon around 7:55 PM, and Lenoir City, Kingston, and Oak Ridge around 8:00 PM.
