A woman was trespassed from Walmart on 3755 East Andrew Johnson Highway Monday afternoon after reportedly attempting to assault an employee with her motorized buggy.
According to the Greeneville Police Department report, officers responded to the store for a simple assault. They spoke with an associate who stated a customer came to her checkout line and used her insurance card to pay for items. The report states the card was declined twice, so the associate tried explaining to the customer that another form of payment was needed.
The customer, listed as Kaero Hammock in the report, allegedly got upset and insulted the associate. She reportedly followed the victim to the customer service desk and drove her motorized buggy toward her as if she was going to hit her. Loss prevention allegedly had to escort Hammack out of the store and she was trespassed. Officers advised of private prosecution.
