A man is facing charges after a large amount of stolen property was found at his Timber Lane residence, off Asheville Highway.
Following information gathered about a reported burglary, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department conducted a search warrant at the residence of 55-year-old Charles Eugene Cutshaw. A large amount of stolen items were discovered, including multiple antiques. Detectives also went to a barn on the Asheville Highway near Timber Lane and recovered more stolen items, including an enclosed trailer.
Cutshaw was charged with theft over $10,000 and driving on a revoked license 3rd offense. His bond was set at $28,000. An arraignment was scheduled for today in Greene County Sessions Court.
Although several victims have already been identified, it is believed there are others due to the amount of property found. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is asking for anyone who has had recent interactions with Cutshaw to notify Detective Sgt. Toby Price at 798-1800 ext. 1516.
