The police department received a call on a vehicle striking vacuums at a car wash and leaving the scene.
A witness from the Marathon Car Wash on Tusculum Boulevard gave officers the tag number, belonging to a black SUV. The vehicle was found to belong to Joe R. Roark of Afton. Roark reportedly admittedd to hitting the vacuums and leaving the scene.
Damage to the two commercial vacuum units was estimated at $5000. Roark received a summons to court for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to show due care, and driving with no license.
