As the sun began to set on a mostly clear and pleasant weather day at the Greene County Fairgrounds, cars were still making their way through a well designed layout leading to the food distribution.

Food Bank workers joined Greene County Emergency personnel , elected officials and numerous volunteers in the quickly organized event designed to deliver additional food to SNAP eligible residents of Greene County.

Vehicles had been lining up since early afternoon in front of the fairgrounds in anticipation of the food distribution. Shown below prior to the official start were the first of hundreds of vehicles which showed up on Wednesday. Greeneville Police organized the traffic flow plan.

The North Greene boys basketball team members of the past were well represented at the event as former Huskie Nathan Reynolds , now the pastor at New Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, was one on those who helped organize volunteers.
