A Greeneville woman was taken into custody Tuesday evening on a probation violation warrant from Washington County.
Greene County Deputy Jenna Handshoe was on patrol in the area on East Andrew Johnson Highway and Harlan Street around 7 pm when she came upon a vehicle with the suspect she knew to have an outstanding warrant.
After initiating emergency equipment and conducting a traffic stop, 52 year old Crystal Renee Haynes of Indian Hills Circle was taken into custody for violation of probation. The deputy then met the Washington County Sheriff’s Department in Limestone for the prisoner exchange.
