Greeneville, TN — The Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition (GCADC) is partnering with Adam Clark, Northeast HIA Coordinator with the Tennessee Department of Health, and Matthew Crawford, CPRS, Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist (ROPS) with the Sullivan County Anti-Drug Coalition, along with Insight Alliance–Lifeline and REST programs, to host a Pop-Up Naloxone Distribution Event on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Greene County Co-Op parking lot, located at 1414 W. Main Street, Greeneville.

This collaborative community event aims to provide free naloxone (Narcan) — a lifesaving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses — along with training on how to recognize and respond to an overdose. Community members are encouraged to stop by, learn more about overdose prevention, and pick up a free naloxone kit.
“Partnership is key in saving lives and supporting recovery in Greene County,” said Christina Matthews, Assistant Director of GCADC. “We’re proud to stand beside our state and local partners to make naloxone more accessible and ensure our community has the knowledge and tools to respond in an emergency.”
Representatives from partnering organizations will be on site to answer questions, share information about treatment and recovery resources, and connect residents with ongoing prevention efforts in Greene County.
