Summers-Taylor will begin paving a segment (0.64 miles) of Erwin Highway from 11E to the Greeneville and Tusculum city-limit line today.
When this section is complete, they will move paving operations to a 1.92-mile segment of Old Shiloh Road from Old Tusculum Road to Shiloh Road.
Next, paving will move to E Church Street to pave 1.2 miles between Bernard and Buckingham Drive (near Stratford Dr.)
Flagging operations will occur at all locations, with no closures anticipated. After the paving is complete, permanent striping will be installed.
This work has been a long time coming. The contract for this project with TDOT was signed five years ago, in 2020.
