GENERAL NATHANIEL GREENE ASSEMBLY HALL
This painting of General Greene, for whom the county was named, hangs outside the entrance to the meeting area bearing his name.
AUDIO/VISUAL ROOM
Audio for both those inside the assembly hall and those watching online is much improved over the audio used in the upstairs courtroom at the former meeting location. Shown inside the Audio/Visual Room just outside the meeting area are Billy Gosnell of Gosnell’s Stereo and Music and Kyle Johnson with Millennium Computers of Greeneville, who have been instrumental in development of the sound system. Each commissioner has their own microphone turned on as they speak.
TAKOMA CHAPEL
The door may look familiar to those who had visited the former Takoma Hospital. Other than a new stain, the door, including the script on the glass, is the same one used in the chapel at the hospital. The room is in the same location with an emphasis on maintaining the same look as when used for the hospital.
