A woman escaped injury but had to helped out of her car via the trunk of the vehicle following a single vehicle wreck shortly before 10:30 Saturday evening.
A Greene County Sheriff’s Department report indicates emergency personnel responded to the crash at the Woolsey Rd / Jearoldstown Road intersection. The driver, who was not identified on the report, stated she was traveling south bound on Jearoldstown Road and while going through the Woolsey intersection she realized she was supposed to turn left. The driver then attempted to make a sharp left hand turn back onto Jearoldstown Road but in the process was unable to regain control of the vehicle, which left the roadway, then rolled over before coming to rest on an embankment.
Two witnesses stopped to assist and were able to help the victim out of the vehicle. through the trunk. the vehicle had to be towed from the scene, but the driver did not require medical treatment.
