Strong winds are expected in the mountains through this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Wind gusts up to 55 mph are expected; and a Wind Advisory is in effect. Elsewhere, wind gusts up to 35 are possible.
Showers and storms are expected from early this morning through the afternoon hours. Some storms could produce strong winds.
Ensure outdoor objects are secured. Gusty winds will blow around loose and unsecured objects, including holiday decor and festival tents. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.
