Theft from a motor vehicle in Midway was reported Wednesday to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the complainant from Pottertown Road in Midway, he stated he heard a door shut that night about 10 PM and went outside when he noticed the victim’s vehicle driver door wide open.
After checking out the vehicle on his way back into the home he stated he saw someone run past the residence and towards the back yard. Through the window the complainant saw the suspect running into the woods with a flashlight. A GPS was found to be missing from the vehicle.
