The first of a busy three days leading up to the reopening of the Greene County Clerk’s Office is underway today, as the move from the Annex to the Greene County Administration Center officially got underway this morning.
OFFICE CLOSED DURING THE MOVE
The Clerk’s Office is closed today, Friday and Saturday during the relocation to 401 Takoma Avenue, Suite 103. During this closure, all services provided by the Clerk’s Office are suspended, including license plate renewals, car registrations, watercraft registrations, marriage licenses, driver’s license renewals, and other essential services. All these services are scheduled to be available when the office resumes business on normal operating hours at 8:00 am Monday. The department’s phone number will remain unchanged at 423-798-1708.
Once inside the new building, to the right is the main entrance to the County Clerk Office.
MOBILE SERVICE MOVED FOR OCTOBER
County Clerk Lori Bryant says while the office is getting acclimated to the new location , the Greene County Clerk Vehicle Registration Mobile Service will be moved from next week to the 4th full week of the month during the week of October 28 – 31
