A bicyclist was injured Wednesday afternoon shortly before three when his bike was struck by a car.
The accident occurred on East Andrew Johnson Highway at the North Main Extension.
According to a Greeneville Police Department report , the bicycle operated by Bobby J. Williams (no age or address listed on the report) was attempting to cross the highway when struck by the car driven by Coralea Sterling.
Williams was taken by EMS to the Johnson City Medical Center for head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report. Sterling was not injured. No charges were filed.
