One person had to be extricated from their vehicle and flown by Highlands Air Rescue to an area hospital for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash around 5 pm Sunday on Highway 11E near Chuckey Pike.
THP was awaiting an accident report from the investigating trooper earlier this morning.
The Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad, Greene County EMS, Greene County Sheriff’s Department also responded along with the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department.
Limestone volunteer firefighters were also called around that same time to an accident in Washington County near McQueen Road and Gravel Hill Road involving a motorcycle. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
A late Saturday afternoon crash in Bowmantown on Highway 75 is also under investigation.
