Cannabis products were reported stolen from a Greeneville store on Wednesday.
An employee at Greeneville Discount Tobacco on Tusculum Boulevard told the Greeneville Police Department a man came into the store around 7:30 PM and took three jars of THCa cannabis from a glass shelf display. The man was reportedly seen on video concealing the items in his front hoodie pocket. The suspect left the store without paying. The items taken were valued at $130.
The man later returned and was confronted by employees about the theft. He left abruptly in a red truck occupied by two other men.
The suspect was identified in the report. The business was advised of private prosecution procedures.
