The weather certainly did not agree with a planned outdoor event at the Fairgrounds last night, but the night of remembrance, awareness and hope moved indoors for the Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition International Overdose Awareness Event.

One of the displays at the event was a heartbreaking look of 28 pair of shoes representing the 28 overdose deaths in Greene County in the past year.
There will several speakers, including some survivors of overdose deaths, live music by CR Worship, resource tables, a Memory Banner and a candlelight vigil.
