The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission has two new members which were announced by Mayor Cal Doty on Tuesday.
Brittany Hall and Samuel Ricker will begin their official duties on the board with the September meeting.
Hall attended the meeting today in a non-official capacity. Ricker was out of town on business. This will be his second time to serve on the commission. He was Chairman in 2019 before having to resign when he moved out of town. He now works locally again with Farm Credit Mid-America.
The Planning Commission will reorganize during the September meeting. Ginny Kidwell has been serving as acting chair since Lindy Riley’s term on the board expired earlier this year. Due to being on the City Council, Kidwell said she felt it best that a non-elected member serves in that capacity moving forward. She will however lead the nomination process for a new chair.
