A called meeting of the Greene County Board of Education to deal with some matters related to the new school year will be held next week.
On the agenda are proposed adjustments to the current school board policy on cell phones for students. Legislation enacted in Nashville earlier this year requires some tweaking of the policy already in place.
Approval of non-faculty coaches and volunteers is also on the agenda.
The only other item on the agenda is approval of bids for resurfacing of the tennis courts at North Greene and South Greene and the new courts at Chuckey Doak.
The meeting Tuesday begins at 5:30 at the Central Office on West Summer Street.
