No one was injured this morning but traffic on West Summer Street at South Sunset Street was rerouted while responders cleared the accident scene.
This included the Greeneville Energy Authority, which had to make repairs after a small Subaru Sedan struck a utility pole.
The pole was lying in the roadway and blocking one lane of traffic.
Greeneville Police investigated.
