Police conducted a traffic stop on a Gold Chevrolet Trailblazer Friday evening on West Andrew Johnson Highway. The owner and driver, Jackie Bowman of Morristown, did not have a valid driver’s license. A check showed Bowman to be a convicted felon. A search of Bowman found Meth in his pocket and a gun on the passenger seat, loaded with five .410 shotgun shells.
Bowman was placed under arrest for driving without a license, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a felony, unlawful possession of a weapon, and was taken to the Detention Center without incident.
